My name is Arnesia Calk, and I am a gerontologist certified through the National Association for Professional Gerontologists. I am a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer in Florissant Missouri by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. My educational background is a BA in Psychology from Webster University in 2018 and my MA in Gerontology from Webster University in 2020. My inspiration comes from my own personal encounters with my Grandpa, Timothy H. Terrell II, as he struggled through dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. The times where dementia is most present can be our sweetest moments if we let them be. I believe it is possible to be trained to give anyone the happiest moments and the highest quality of life while battling dementia and spreading awareness across the world. 

My trainings will help guide you to provide the best care with the least amount of stress on you as the caregiver or clinician as well as less stress on your loved one or client.  All of the training that is provided will prepare you to be a dementia practitioner in any profession you choose! These trainings can also qualify you to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner with the National Council for Certified Dementia Practitioners. Dementia training without the CDP certification for individuals, long term care facilities, and companies is also available Upon request. 

There are many questions about different steps in the lives of older adults that are difficult to maneuver. Benignity offers consulting services and assistance with questions, concerns, and locating services related to geriatric care. This includes: finding skilled nursing services, setting up home health services, Medicaid applications, social security questions and needs, dementia training, seminars, and more.
